Grateful Hearts

Hey everyone!! Here is a quick post for today. I made this card yesterday.. but my sister is having some problems so I am driving down to her house, leaving in the next few hrs. She is 4 hrs away, to help her out.. but since I did this card I really wanted to get the pictures of it and uploaded, since I did make it for a few challenges.. ANYWAYS!!! I hope you all like it.. if you have any questions let me know! Magnolia Suitcase!! Fall Travels

It's my sisters birthday!! So what better way to send her my love (she lives 4hrs away) then in a traveling suitcase.. I made this little suitcase template.. and had a blast doing it.. I used 2 of the magnolia stamps... the eiffel tower stamp which I embossed with silver embossing powder, then used tim holtz distressed walnut ink to make it look "old" and the flight attendent stamp also..

Inside I created a "passport" this is folded into a little book, It has little stamps where she would have traveled etc.. so all of the family can write a little something to my sister there also..

The Flight Attendent is colored in pinks.. as well as the buckel of the bag.. I added the little white polka-dots with a white gel pen.. This was done for the Just Magnolia Challenge Think Pink

I also stitched everything down so it looked like a real suitcase.. I had a blast making this card!! I have entered it into the All That Scraps Fall/Fold Challenge.. since the handle folds up and down like a real suitcase, and I create the little folded up passport I thought it was perfect.. The Magnolia Downunder has an All Aboard Challenge.. which I thought this is perfect for too :)

flying by to say hi!!

I have had a crazy couple of weeks to say the least.. So today when Liberty went down for her nap, I decided to play for about 45 mins before doing chores..lol I wanted to create something Fall/Halloween-ish.. so this is what I came up with...

I used a cute Maggie stamp for this card.. I love the way it turned out. The moon, and my little maggie flying through it!! I used Shimmers Vibez Rolling in the Hay spray for the shimmer on the moon, I used fun flocks on the clouds, and googlie eyes on the bat. I colored the image with copic markers, and pop dotted her and the bat to make her "fly" off the page... I really hope you all are having a great Sunday.. and enjoy looking at my creation.. HUGS

Wow!! With everything that has been going on in my life, I needed a little bit (not a ton) just 30mins of my OWN time.. to distress.. so I decided to do Faith's progressive challenge D2D.. which I always enjoy.. this is what I came up with.. I truly hope you all enjoy it..

Hey everyone!! This is Alison from freedigitalstamps.blogspot.com and Stretch N' Bubbles.. I am contacting you because my father(mom & dad in photo) had a stroke on the 18th of Aug. he just got out of the ICU.. Both of my parents live with me, and my father has been a constant stone in the lives of our families..He has owned and worked at his own cabinet shop for over 40years, never advertised.. all his clients were by word of mouth.. but now he will not be able to return to work.. He has no feeling in his right side and his speech has been affected. I found out from my mother that they have very poor insurance, the hospital bills alone is going to be a great burden for her (and our family) to bear, let alone rehab etc. So I along with 4 other amazing digital stamp artists are putting together a fundraiser.

I used the #3 Christmas Ornament. I colored my image with copics, I applied glitter to the circles in the middle. I distressed the image, and pop it up on some pop dots. I used some fun buttons at the bottom on a little strip of paper, and tied a bow to the edge of the card.

Tidly Inks Sketch Challenge

Hey everyone... I have a fun little card to share with you today.. I used a Tiddly Inks Stamp called Tree Hugger.. I just ADORE this stamp.. I added some fun little dots to her dress for added texture.. I also love this sentiment.. "We have been friends together in sunshine, and in shade.." I thought it fit perfectly with this card

I 3d pop dotted the scallop and the image so it would have more dimension..

I also paper pieced the top of the tree with some fun patterned paper I had so the tree would have a little more personality.. I colored the image with my copics, I then took my 3d red puffy paint and added sweet little red dots all around the circle to tie in the red I have my little girl wearing.. all and all I think the card turned out really cute..

I chose this image Dogs are fun which you can grab in her store HERE I thought it would be fun to make my little girl with a little bit of spunk.. I added some purple to her hair.. I wanted to stick to the colors that I colored my image with.. one of the fun elements of my card which I hope you all will try sometime.. I punched out a row of circles.. and turned it into my own scalloped edge.. So I used the negative of my circles as a scalloped border.. Copics were used to color this image.. I just love each and EVERY one of Tiddly Inks images.. I had a blast making this card.. I hope you are enjoying the hop.. and thanks for stopping by.. HUGS

Okay..Many of you who know me.. know that I don't do many "Blog Candy Alerts".. one of the reasons why.. is because unless I really LIKE the persons blog that is sponsoring the candy, and I feel that going to their blog will benefit you not just for the CANDY but because you would enjoy looking around there.. as I have.. then I don't want to put my "name" on it if you would.. Feels Like Home

Welcome to the OWH Blog Tour 2010.. if you didn't come from Caro's blog then you need to go back to the start HERE and start at the beginning.. It's America's birthday.. and nothing says America more to me than HOME.. so I created this card.. :)

Well I just got back from a 51/2 hr drive to get some benches for my son's new charter school. In order for Stretch to get into this school I have to do 200-300 service hours.. So Stefan and I got in the jeep and headed out on a little road trip to grab these 6 benches.. let's just say I am so glad I am home.. :) I had to sit and do nothing.. well nothing to me is something fun.. like create a card.. so I did .. here it is.. I used copics to color it, punched out some holes in my red paper to create the circles & backed it with white paper. Used white stickers, and some buttons.. the image is from Tiddly Inks (love it!!)
