it's been a while since I did a layout.. but really wanted to scrapbook today.. so I went with it.. I just found a wonderful site.. Sketchabilities they have sketches there to inspire you.. :) and I was..I used sketch #63 designed by the talented Karan Garber... her blog is so inspiring as well

I love it!! so fun and different! I just love how this layout turned out..

Hey everyone.. so The Paper Variety is having a "photo" challenge.. so I thought I would join in.. I am trying to use up some of my "old scraps" that I have.. I just adore this photo of Stretch when he was only 4.. wow the time does fly.. :( This was taken at a local fair of ours.. I love the bright colors of the photo, and his expression is priceless to me:)

Q: for you all... how do you do dates on your layouts? I have the hardest time with this.. I usually put the date of the photo on the front of the layout.. and then the date I made it on the back.. So I am curious if anyone else does this or maybe you do it a different way.. hugs

Discover your true COLORS

I just LOVE this goofy photo of my dad with Liberty.. he can be such a dork sometimes.. When I drew this digital stamps called Lenny Monster you can get HERE it reminded me of this photo.. I used copic markers to color Lenny and really had a fun time putting this layout together..It is a tradition I have started to do.. I create the same scrapbook page and give one to the child that is in the photo and one to the grandparent too.. which I plan to give to him for Father's Day to add to his collection of scrapbook pages.. :) thanks so much for looking..

WOW!! Where does time go? I have been so busy lately.. I just feel that there are so many things that I need to do.. and not enough time in my day.. lol I know I can't be the only one that is wishing.. Hey can I just get another hr. added on to my 24?? ;) So here is a quick LO for my little man's book.. Yep.. you read the title right.. I am one of those scrappers, I am convinced that I will never be caught up, but then I ask myself. Do you really want to be? As I am thinking more and more about it, I really don't. I just want to enjoy the journey.. So these are my little man's Valentines Cards from 2005. I keep everything..lol I am such a pack rat... I made 3 side pockets using patterned paper.. and slanted them down, so all the cards could be seen.. Thanks for looking :)
-Oh and if you haven't figured out yet.. we all have magic names in our family (that's a whole other story hehe) and my little man's is Stretch..
