A froggie Card..

So... here is a fun card I made for a thank you for my son Stretch to give for all the amazing Christmas items he received this year.. I used a Dustin Pike digital stamp..LOVE this froggie.. so cute.. and fun to color..

I added a lot of fun stuff to this card.. some shaved ice, fibers, copic markers, transparency with words written on it.. I then painted the back of the transparency.. I also added some funky fibers to his hat :) oh.. and the best part.. this card GLOWS IN THE DARK.. I kid you not.. if you want to make a card that your kids will LOVE.. get some puffy paint for .50cents and make a card with it.. I used distressing ink.. also blue and green glitter puffy paint..

I wanted to make it look like he was really sitting on snow.. so this is where I added a bunch of the cotton fibers I pulled apart to literally nothing and glued it on.. and added clear shaved ice to make it sparkle..

PDCC #10...

It's that time again.. did you miss us?? I missed seeing all the amazing creations everyone makes.... I can't believe that we are on the Play Date Cafe Challenge 10... wow.. the time has just flown by..

This amazing inspiration is from our wonderful, amazing, and talented Sarah.. I hope you will join in with us and create something fabulous to go along with this challenge.. The colors are a Teal, Brown, and Rose Pink..I can't wait to see what you all come up with..

For my creation I used 3d puffy paint, a googly eye, glitter, sewing, copic markers, and of course a SNB Digital stamp.. which you can get HERE

I also added a handmade lolly pop flower, a cute flower button, some feathers.. and some glitter dots on top of the feathers and the button.. :)


I hope you like my creation and offering for this PDCC.. I am sorry I haven't really posted anything in a bit.. my little girl Liberty is very sick with RSV she is only 17mo old and it's totally taking it's tole on her.. Thank you to everyone who have sent emails, cards, prayers, thoughts, love and support.. I really appreciate it more than you know..

Okay.. So my CRAZY TALENTED friend Lynn at Millers-ink had hit 25,000 hits and had some blog candy.. :) I was like.. Okay.. I will enter.. I never win at these things.. but I am always ecstatic that SOMEONE... SOMEWHERE gets some goodies.. :)

So what was she giving away you ask?? well.. the Cricuts "Sweethearts" cartridge.. Oh I was stoked.. so what did I do.. ?? I entered.. :)

The Play Date Cafe Challenge #9

Hey everyone it's that time again.. the wonderful Play Date Cafe Challenge.. and this week is hosted by the wonderful and creative.. Jules she has picked out some BEAUTIFUL colors.. Deep Blue, Gold, and Cream.. I was so excited to play with these colors.. in my mind I thought of a simple elegance and beauty.. I started to create this digital image called Fanci .. I love how this turned out.. :) I love when your fingers works along with your mind to create what you had envisioned.. I

I printed off the digital image Fanci, and started coloring.. I used copic markers to make her come to life.. I then started with the fun mess.. oh boy was it a mess.. I had feather pieces all over me... and when I woke up I still had them with me.. they had followed me up to my room, into my bed.. everywhere I looked there are little feathers.. I think I will be cleaning up fun feathers for a VERY long time.. but I think the result was well worth the mess..

So I added feathers, I layered them to give them lots of depth.. I wanted this image to POP right off the card.. :)

I then added some puffy paint.. you know the kind you used when you were a kid on t-shirts.. :) I had some gold glitter, so I made a few little dots along the side of the card.. and took a flower (a pink one) and colored it gold and added the glitter puffy paint to the edges.. I inked and distressed all the edges.. and called it good.. :)

I really hope you come and play with us this week.. I just know you will be inspired by all the creations the DT has made.. Don't forget to visit their blogs too.. :) and fill their love tanks..

The Play Date Cafe Challenge #8

YEAH!!! It's my turn again for the colors this week at the Play Date Cafe Challenge..

When I was looking for my inspiration I kept coming back to my three favorite colors for the holiday's, Red, Lime Green, and Bright Pink. I just love the way these three colors compliment each other so well yet they create such a fun and funky pallet to play with. I wanted to make this weeks challenge fun, light and playful.. so these were the perfect colors.. I hope you will join us in playing this week.. I can't WAIT to see what you create..

~Here for the base of this I took 2 baby food plastic containers covered them with paper and put rocks in them to hold it down. I then added a drink mix plastic holder.. I cut a hole in the top of one of them and put it into the bottom of the tree.. I

~ I used wires and twisted and turned them and added rhinestones, glitter, flowers, and dots all over the tree..

I colored my cute Chick using copic markers, and added some ribbon and flowers.. You can get this Digital Stamp HERE... HUGS

Play Date Cafe Challenge #7

I can't believe it is already the Play Date Cafe's Challenge #7.... For this weeks challenge the colors are green, red, and white.. I didn't want to do a Christmas card.. So I decided to create a more any day card.. I used a new digital image called Girl of the 20's you can get this stamp HERE.. I am really please how she turned out.. I used copics to color her with.., added a flower, some pen stitching, a little tag and voila.. easy peasy.. Oh I used the cricut cartridge "Wild Card" for the actual card base.. I hope you enjoy looking at this new creation.. and I hope you will join us in playing this weeks challenge.. don't forget to stop by the other girls blogs to see what they have created also..(links on my sidebar)
