Bringing Washi Back 2

I don't know about you, but when something is super trendy.. I am one of those people that gravitate to buying a whole bunch of it.. Then i'm left with a bunch of a product when it's "not so hot" anymore. lol 

That being said.. I'm BRINGING WASHI BACK BABY!!!! Washi is one of those things I can see myself using for a very long time. Even though I feel like it's not as "trendy" as it used to be. I think it will always have a special place in my heart!

Bringing Washi BACK!

So.. during the video you will see that I forgot to turn my camera back on for the rest of this card.. I was so mad at myself.. So if you are interested in how to do this technique, let me know and I will re-do the video. I saw a card one time on pinterest like this.. so it's not my original technique.

Using washi tape for fun elements.. like scarf, hat, gloves etc. Get's you to use your product, but in a way you haven't thought of before.

Let's Mix it Up Friday :)

Hey everyone! So... I LOVE Halloween! I just don't feel like I have made enough cards for this holiday yet.. :) There is still time to knock a few more out!

So I had a blast using 2 TAWS sets for this card.. the stripe is from the Ooh-la-la set, and the sentiment is from the Calypso set :) I really love how this turned out.. even if my spiders do have a hint of pink glitter LOL :)

This card was requested by one of our TAWS followers Richard. He wanted to know how to make the sentiment raised with the image underneath.. I don't know how everyone else does this.. but this is how I do it :) 

I have had this little card floating around in my head for a while now.. so Thanks Richard for the push to get it made :)
