Peachy Keen Guest Designer Day 1

A little about me..I really started “Scrapbooking/Card making” in 1996 when my dear friend Lisa Bearnson introduced to her new magazine Creating Keepsakes.. after that I was HOOKED!.. I do both scrapbooking and card making..I love to do anything with my hands, and if it has a crafty flair I love it even more.. I have been published in many magazines, worked for Creating Keepsakes as a designer for products sold on QVC, and won many contests.

I was so excited to be asked to be one of the amazing Guest Designers for Peachy Keen Stamps..It was so hard for me to pick what products to work with since I love them all.

Here is my 1st project...

For this project I ended up using one of my favorite Peachy stamp sets called Pocket Posies

I started off with a white cardstock and distressed the edges with distressing ink. I then broke out the old sewing machine.. Now I am not a "sewer".. I can only sew a line and squiggle lines.. hehe so that is what I did here.. I ended up stamping the flowers with 3 different inks, blue, red, and green, then placed them on a pok-a-dot paper, added some fun little flowers, a little sparkle center, rounded the corners and called it good. I think this set is so sweet and really can be used all year long. I can see making a lot of fun, different, unique projects with this one set..

I am so excited to share my Peachy Keen creations all week long.. I will see you back here tomorrow..

Peachy Giveaway--How would you like to win this set of PINK Acrylic Blocks.. You can never have enough of these babies...
All you have to do is leave me a comment the Peachy Keen blog and at my blog, Stretch N' Bubbles 2 !. I am requesting you stop over at my blog each day, so at the end of the week (May 6th-Friday) I can announce the winner for my peachy candy...Thank you so very much for sharing a bit of your day with me and Peachy Keen!

Hi Allison ! Congrats on being the guest DT !
Your card is really pretty too. I especially liked your polka dot paper contrasting with the diamond checks stripe and the 3 embellished flowers too.
I have just never attempted any sewing although my sweet sweet hubby got me a sewing machine 7 years back which is home to pots of dust :) Just the look of the thread going thru so many holes scares me ! what if the thread gets stuck ! But ofcourse you seem to have done a very good job of the sewing here.
Thank you for the opportunity to win these gorgeous acrylic flower slabs. I never knew they made them in these shapes too ! Fancy that !!!!
Much love\
