Bare feet welcome...

I am not ready to give up summer just yet.. So here is a simple creation I made.. totally being inspired by the challenge my sweet friend Lynn is hosting at Do More With Less... :) & Emily's challenge.. with the grass in her picture.. since this will be going on my door for a few weeks at least.. I thought it would be perfect for her "home challenge"
So you are asking.. what did you do? well... I used an old wreath I got from Wally World for 3 dollars... it was covered in red, white, and blue flowers for memorial day.. I took it apart.. and found this yarn I had lying around.. I wrapped the wreath and made pom, poms to make it look like grass.. I then took some twine, and some scraps of paper and made the banner... the "bare feet welcome" is held on by a sucker stick, that Liberty kindly ate for me.. (of course we washed it;) I added little white flowers for a fun little added touch!
Thanks so much for stopping by and looking :) I had seen a wreath like this before and wanted to make my own.. and now I did :) hugs

Aw, this is very welcoming indeed! I love the fluffiness of the wreath (makes me want to reach out and touch it) and the banner colours are super cute. Thanks for playing in The Moving Challenge again, Alison! P.S. I love the new look of your blog. ;)
