This first card is a card I created using the stamp something challenges sketch.. I got this FREE Yes FREE digital Stamp from Designed2Delight blog.. I was sent by my good friend Lori.. who made a creation also using this stamp.. :) So if you go over to get this FREE stamp.. make sure you post that you came from my blog.. :) because if you post a creation using this stamp and someone goes and gets it from your blog.. you get an extra freebie.. isn't that wonderful.. :)
I used a lot of different techniques on this.. I distressed, 2 diff. puffy paints, sewed hearts around the card, and just reg sewing, I used copics to color the image.. I wanted a kind of watercolor look kind of messy.. :)(which is new for me.. never done that before.. I also puffy painted all the little hearts on the cream paper too.. :)

This next card.. yes I used another FREE digital stamp.. :) this one is from my friend Jodies blog..Bugaboo Stamps..isn't it cute.. and right now if you head over and enter this free image into their challenge.. you get to pick out any FREE digital image you want out of her shop.. :) so what are you waiting for.. :) go get this image make a creation and post it.. link back to her site and you get a free digital stamp.. :) don't forget to tell her HI from me :)
I had a fun time creating this one.. I used a sketch from Delightful Sketches I distressed the card, made some cute lolly pop flowers with buttons in the middle.. I colored my image with copics and added some Paint.. YES acrylic paint.. now this was new for me..I used an acrylic paint pen I got from Wal-mart and created polka-dots on her hat and the high light in her eyes, nose and wings, I also added glitter, ric rak, and patterned paper..
I also entered this card into the Cute Card Thursday-All New Challenge.. since I used a new technique, and this card will be going to a friend who is having a baby.. I thought it was perfect..
