PDCC #11 Ping

It's that time again.. :) the Play Date Cafe Challenge #11 wow.. I can't believe it's 11 already.. time has just flown by.. this week the fun, talented, and creative Sandi has picked out our inspiration and colors..

Gold, Silver, Black, and White.. I instantly thought of this little girl named Ping she is a new digital stamp at Stretch N' Bubbles and I am in LOVE with her.. I thought it would be fun to have a flourish flower to go along with her.. so naturally I created a digital stamp for that one too..

~now to the details..

I colored Ping with copic markers, and the gold and silver are from CTMH.. I used white puffy paint for all the white you see and black for the lettering on her kimono... I stitched all around the card with a VERY small stitch.. I used a polka-dot background paper and some textured silver paper I found in my scraps..Let me tell you.. this card was a very relaxing card.. I took and PAINTED every inch of the flourish flower with puffy paint, silver, gold, white, and black were used.. then I took the white and made dots around it.. to tie the two layers together.. Oh and if you look up a couple photos you will see that I pop dotted the flower to give it more texture and versatility.. :)
